Students, now that we have all come out of hibernation, hopefully we can make some serious progress! Tuesday we will address l'imparfait (a review for those who were in class on Thursday 8 February). For the tennis students and others who were unable to be present -- read your textbook, pp. 244-246, prior to coming to class. Devoirs: p. 246, ex 6-36. Crééz des phrases à l'imparfait, suivant (=following) le modèle. Students who were not in class: I am e-mailing you the two handouts you missed. The one with sentences for you to rewrite is due Tuesday!

(In these sentences, give me a different subject pronoun for each... in other words, don't make them all 'je' sentences! ;) Attention, students who will meet with me Friday at 4 p.m.: Let me know tomorrow at least one thing you're having trouble with so that I can prepare some individualized help for you.

Interro: Vocab, Leçon 1 (p. 256 -- yes, we are going to try it again, with different words this time, also there will be five more questions using the passé composé avec être). Devoirs: Un dessin de votre apartemment ou maison, utilisant 12 mots/termes de vocab de Leçon 1. Attention: As per your syllabus, you are allowed only five unexcused absences before failing the class. Some of you have already been absent three times without explaining your situation to me. Just a word of reminder so that you don't find yourself in a tough place.
